A1 BeachTranscriptVocabulary

Look at the picture. Listen and look. There is one example.

A: Can you see the beach? Would you like to colour the picture?
B: Okay. I’d love to. They look like they’re having fun.
A: There’s a man who’s fishing. Can you see him?
B: Yes, I can.
A: Add the colour red to his trousers.
B: Yeah, okay. I’m doing that now.

Can you see the red colour on the trousers? This is an example. Now you listen and put the colours and words on the picture.

Question 1
B: What shall I put one of the colours on now?
A: Okay. Can you see the boy playing in the sand?
B: Yeah, but which one?
A: The older boy who’s playing nearer to the sea.
B: Yeah, I can see him.
A: Put the colour green on his T-shirt.

Question 2
A: Now, there’s a blanket on the sand.
B: Yeah, two people are sitting on it.
A: That’s right. Have you got a purple colour?
B: Oh, yes. I have.
A: Then put it on the blanket.
B: OK.

Question 3
A: Would you like to put a word on something on this picture too?
B: Yeah, I love to do that for you.
A: Good. Put the word wet on one of the boats.
B: Shall I put it on the bigger boat?
A: Yes, good idea.

Question 4
B: And can I put a colour on the sail of the smaller boat?
A: Yes, OK. You choose the colour.
B: Hmm, I think yellow would be good for that sail.
A: Yes, you’re right.

Question 5
A: Now, can you put a colour on one of the birds?
B: Yes, OK. Can I put a colour on the one that’s flying near the big boat?
A: No, put the colour on the one that’s sitting on the beach, next to the man who’s fishing. I think that bird wants to eat the fish that he has just caught.
B: Oh yeah, so shall I put pink on him?
A: Yes, please. That’s great. Thanks.

Now listen to it again.
