You will hear a boy talking to his uncle about a class trip to a farm.
N: Part 1. Listen and look. There is one example.
A: Uncle Jack, please have a look at this picture of when my class visited a farm.
B: What a great picture. Is that Miss Jones, your teacher?
A: Yes, it was such a lovely day last Friday. She helped us learn about all the farm animals.
N: Can you see the number and the name? This is an example. Now you listen and write the name next to the number.
B: Can you tell me about your friends, then? Who’s this?
A: This is Emma.
B: Is she collecting eggs from the chickens?
A: Yes, she is. She’s the one wearing a yellow jacket and blue jeans. She was so excited to find fresh eggs.
B: So, who is the boy with the red shirt and brown hair?
A: That’s Daniel. He wants to help Emma collect the eggs. Can you see my best friend Sophie?
B: Is she the one with the baby goats?
A: Yes, that’s Sophie. She has brown hair and a red T-shirt. She loves animals and wants to be a vet. Emma is her next-door neighbour.
B: She looks very gentle with them. What about the boy with the green hat?
A: Do you mean the boy with the bucket of apples?
B: Yes, the one wearing the green farm overalls. What’s his name?
A: Oh, yes. That’s Oliver. His sister Grace is looking at the goats, and he is standing behind her. She’s got blonde hair. They both live on a farm, so they know lots about animals.
B: And what about the girl with curly red hair sitting on the fence?
A: Oh! That’s Lily. She loves taking photos of all the farm animals.
B: You look like you had a good time.
N: Now listen to Part 1 again.
