Plan a journey
Find out how you can get to an interesting place and draw a map of the journey.

  • Name the place (Madrid, Singapore, Bangkok etc.)
  • How far is it? (100 km, 50 miles)
  • How do you get there? (By bus, by train etc.)
  • Will it cost any money?  (Yes, it will cost $50 by train or $80 by plane)
  • How long will it take? (2hrs, 50 minutes etc.)
  • Are there any interesting things you will see on the journey? (lake, forest etc.)

Show your map and tell your friends or family about the journey.

Especially helpful are exercises that are focussed on a theme or topic as these provide word retention practice so you can be confident to read, write, speak and listen successfully.
