intermediate levelHere are some free materials for intermediate English language learners. These are most likely appropriate for students in their second or third year of English studies. There are many grammar and vocabulary exercises, as well as whole-text activities. We also offer test preparation activities for students preparing for the B1 Preliminary exam, which is part of the Cambridge Assessment English Main Suite.

The ‘Getting to Know You‘ unit begins your fast-track English journey by teaching you how to use language to introduce yourself, discuss your daily routines, and share your hobbies and interests. Through speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities, you build confidence using the present simple tense and key vocabulary. By the end of the unit, you will be able to write a short paragraph about their weekday routine and record a short introduction in English.
The School Life and Study Tips unit continues your fast-track English journey by teaching you how to discuss your school subjects, daily study routines, and offer straightforward advice to classmates. Through speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities, you will develop confidence in using the present simple tense, adverbs of frequency, and modal verbs such as “should” and “must.” By the end of this unit, you will be able to describe your school day, share effective study habits, and write a short paragraph giving study tips to others.

Improve your B1 English with fun lessons on free time and technology! Students learn useful vocabulary for digital life. They practice grammar with real-life activities. They build confidence by speaking and writing about using technology in their free time. Perfect for teenagers looking to boost their English skills with practical, engaging content.
This unit, Food, Health and Routines, focuses on building vocabulary and grammar. It helps you discuss daily habits and how to live a healthy life. You’ll practice speaking, reading, and writing about food, health and routines, and learn how small changes can improve your well-being.
The unit ‘ People and Relationships’ will be available on June 1.
Especially helpful are exercises that are focused on a theme or topic, as these provide word retention practice so you can be confident to read, write, speak and listen successfully. We have many activities to help you get your English up to speed quickly.
The more words you encounter and understand, the broader your day-to-day vocabulary will become. Our word games and puzzles are an excellent way to help reinforce spelling in your mind.

Part 1 - Read five real-world notices, messages and other short texts for the main message.

Part 2 - Match five descriptions of people to eight short texts on a particular topic, showing detailed comprehension.

Part 3 - Read a longer text for detailed comprehension, gist, inference and global meaning, as well as writer’s attitude and opinion.

Part 4 - Read a longer text from which five sentences have been removed. Show understanding of how a coherent and well-structured text is formed.

Write about 100 words, answering the email and notes provided.

Requires being able to follow and understand a range of familiar spoken materials, such as news programmes, public announcements and other sources, but targeted at the interests of the learners.

This free material is for students at an Intermediate Level of English. This will probably suit students in their second or third year of English studies. We add grammar and vocabulary exercises as well as whole-text activities regularly. In addition, we provide test practice activities for students preparing for the B1 Preliminary, which is part of the Cambridge Assessment English Main Suite, as well as the English Language B for the IB Diploma. The material will also support students studying for the Cambridge Advanced courses and IELTS examinations.
