Gap Year listening exercise is a gap-fill type question to practise for the Cambridge English C1 Advanced and IELTS tests as well as the English Language B IB Diploma.

Gap Year Listening Exercise

You will hear a student called Greg Pichard talking about his gap year to Africa.

For questions 1-8 complete the sentences with a word or short phrase.

Greg says that the Kruger national park is home to the largest population of (1) in South Africa.

Greg was surprised that so many people chose to study (2) during the first week of the trip.

On Greg's research project, he was responsible for recording the (3) of the crocodiles sighted.
