Set 1 of our practice exercises Part 3 of the Cambridge English B1 Preliminary Writing Section. This is an example of how to write a short story about a surprised teacher who comes to school on the wrong day. It is set at an Intermediate level of English or B1 on the CEFR Scale.

Please note for the real test, it isn’t a gap exercise. You are asked to write a story using about 100 words.
