This is a KET video explaining how to do the Cambridge English KEY (KET) Reading & Writing Part 1.
There are eight signs, notices or other very short texts (A–H) and five sentences. You have to match each sentence to the right sign or notice. This part of the examination assesses your ability to read for the main message.
You will sometimes see the same word in the question and in one of the signs or notices. Be careful! Finding the same word in the question and the sign or notice does not mean you have found the answer. To do this part of the test you must first understand the meaning of the question. Then look for the sign or notice that means the same, but uses different words to the question. Watch this video which explains how to successfully complete this part of the test.
