A2 Key Reading Part 3 Section 2 Set 4

A2 Key Reading Part 3 Section 2 Set 4

A2 Key Reading Part 3 Section 2 Set 4 is practice for the Cambridge Assessment English A2 KEY Reading & Writing (KET) examination. This is about Maria’s mother asking for help from her daughter.

This is the second part of Part 3 which is a longer conversation, but some sentences are missing. You have a list of sentences and you have to find the right sentence for each space. This part of the examination assesses your ability to read and find the right answer for everyday conversations.

Asking for Help

For questions 1-5 choose the correct answer from the choices available.

Example:

Mother: Maria, please stop using your phone?

Maria: Just a bit longer, Mum.

Mother: Sorry, but you need to come and help me now.

Maria: (1)

Mother: Help me with cooking first and tidy up as well later.

Maria: (2)

Mother: Yes, your grandma and grandpa are going to visit us.

Maria: (3)

Mother: They are busy next week, so they are coming round today instead.

Maria: (4)

Mother: Good idea. Do we have any chocolate?

Maria: (5)

Mother: Great. You'd better get started then.
