A2 Key Reading Part 3 Section 2 Set 1

A2 Key Reading Part 3 Section 2 Set 1 is practice for the Cambridge Assessment English A2 KEY Reading & Writing (KET) examination. This is about two boys talking about going to a basketball game.

This is the second part of Part 3 which is a longer conversation, but some sentences are missing. You have a list of sentences and you have to find the right sentence for each space. This part of the examination assesses your ability to read and find the right answer for everyday conversations.

Going to a basketball game

For questions 1-5 choose the correct answer from the choices available.

Pablo: Hi, Pedro. Do you want to come and watch the basketball game this afternoon?

Petro: (1)

Pablo: It doesn't begin until eight, but can you get there by seven?

Petro: (2)

Pablo: We'll get good seats at the front if we do that.

Petro: (3)

Pablo: I don't know yet, but they won't be too expensive.

Petro: (4)

Pablo: Yes! I spoke to them this morning. Do you know anyone else who would like to come?

Petro: (5)

Pablo: OK. I'll call him now.
