💬 Example post

I go to school at 7:30. My favourite subject is English because I like learning new words. At break time, I talk with my friends. I like my classroom because it is big and bright.

🤝 Reply to a friend

If you’re studying with a friend, read their paragraph and reply to it — say something nice or ask a question. This sentence can help: “That sounds fun! What do you like most about (subject / break time / etc.)?”

My name is Emma and I live in Canada. I go to Maple Hill School, and I’m in Grade 7. Every day, I wake up at 6:45 and take the bus to school. My first lesson starts at 8:15. I usually have English, Maths, Science, and Art.

My favourite subject is Art because I love drawing and painting. At break time, I talk with my friends or read a book in the library. We have lunch at 12:30, and school finishes at 3:00. After school, I sometimes do my homework or play basketball at the park.

I like my school because the teachers are kind and the classrooms are bright. I think learning new things is fun!

I go to school at 7:30. I have English, Maths, and Science. My favourite subject is English because I like learning new words. At break time, I eat a snack and talk with my friends. School finishes at 3 o’clock.

Write a short paragraph (50–70 words) about a typical day at your school. Use the present simple and full sentences. Try to include:

• what time you go to school

• what time school finishes
