Food and Drink

This unit, Food and Drink, is all about talking about what you eat and drink during the day. You’ll learn how to describe your meals, favourite foods, and eating habits. You’ll also explore what teenagers in other countries eat and compare your meals with theirs.

🎯

What You’ll Do

  • Talk about your daily meals, favourite foods, and snacks.
  • Ask and answer questions about what people eat and drink.
  • Write a short paragraph about what you eat in a day.
  • Understand short texts and videos about teenagers’ meals around the world.
  • Learn vocabulary for food, drinks, meals, and quantities.
📝

Activities

🎯 What you’ll practise

Listen carefully as a teenager talks about food and drink, and notice the new words he uses.

📌 What to do

  • one thing you don’t like or hate
  • like / love / hate + eating/drinking, or I usually eat…
  • a question for your classmates (e.g. “Do you like spicy food?”)
  • then reply to at least two classmates with a short comment or a question
