Part 2: Vegan Cooking Club

You will hear Mr Green talking to a group of people about a vegan cooking club. For each question, write the correct answer in the gap. Write one word, a number, a date or a time.

Mr Green Good afternoon, everyone. I’m Mr Green and I’m here to tell you about our new vegan cooking club. I’m really excited about this because I think you’ll love learning to make delicious plant-based food.

We meet every Thursday afternoon in the secondary school kitchen — it’s got everything we need, including six cooking stations and a big oven. Our sessions run from three pm until five pm, so that’s two hours of cooking time.

Each session costs four pounds, which includes all the ingredients and recipes to take home. That’s really good value when you think about how much food you’ll make!

I’ll teach you how to cook meals, as well as amazing desserts — you’ll be surprised how good vegan curries and chocolate cake can be! The club is open to anyone who is fourteen years old or older.

I’ve been cooking vegan food for ten years, and I promise you’ll learn something new every week. We start next month, so if you’re interested, please give me your name before you leave today.

Now listen again.

That is the end of Part Two — Vegan Cooking Club.
