B2 Birthday Party Letter

B2 Letter or Email

B2 Birthday Party Letter is practice for the Cambridge Assessment English B2 First (FCE) examination. For this example, it is an informal letter replying to a friend asking for help to organise a special birthday party for his sister, Maria.

The letter or email is written in response to a situation outlined in the question. You can expect to be asked to write letters/emails to an English-speaking friend or colleague, a potential employer, a college principal, or a magazine editor. The letter or email will require a response which is consistently appropriate in register and tone for the specified target reader.
