- Writing warmer: spin three times and write three sentences to start the lesson.
- Grammar focus: lock the wheel to your target tense and vary only the word.

Why it supports learning
Combining a tense with a word makes students produce grammar in a meaningful context rather than drilling it in isolation — they have to map form onto meaning, which is how grammar actually gets internalised.
