Grandmother: Emma, your living room looks so nice! Can you tell me about the things here?
Emma: Thank you, Grandma! I love our living room.
Grandmother: I can see a big sofa. What colour is it?
Emma: The sofa is purple. It’s very comfortable!
Grandmother: Yes, it is.

Grandmother: And what about the cushions on the sofa?
Emma: The cushions are orange. Mom bought them last week.
Grandmother: Very nice! I can see curtains at the window. What colour are they?
Emma: The curtains are pink. They look pretty in the sunshine.
Grandmother: Beautiful! And there’s a rug on the floor. What colour is the rug?
Emma: The rug is black. I like to sit on it when I watch TV.
Grandmother: That’s wonderful! I can see some books on the shelf. What colour are they?
Emma: The books are grey. They’re my favourite stories!
Grandmother: How lovely! What else can you see in the living room?
Emma: There is a big plant under the shelf. It has green leaves.
Grandmother: What a wonderful living room, Emma!
