You will hear a boy talking to his grandma about a day at the park with his friends.
N: Part 1. Listen and look. There is one example.
A: Grandma, please have a look at this picture of my friends in the park.
B: It looks lovely. Can you tell me about your friends, then? Who’s this?
A: This is John.
B: Is he running with a girl?
A: Yes, he is. He’s the one wearing blue shorts and a white shirt.
N: Can you see the number and the name? This is an example. Now you listen and write the name next to the number.
B: So, who’s he running with?
A: That’s Maria. She’s wearing a red and yellow dress. They sit together in class. Can you see my best friend Peter?
B: Is he the one holding the football and running with John and Maria?
A: Yes, that’s Peter. He loves running and playing football. Maria is his sister.
B: He looks very happy. What about the boy playing with the toy?
A: Do you mean David, playing with the red toy car?
B: No, the other boy, playing with the blue toy plane and wearing the yellow t-shirt. What’s his name?
A: Oh, yes. That’s Robert. His cousin David is playing with the red toy car. He’s got brown hair. They both love playing with their toys.
B: And what about the girl with blonde hair sliding down the giraffe slide?
A: Oh! That’s Emma. She loves playing on the slide. Can you see me? I’m next to the slide.
B: Oh yes! You look very happy.
A: Yes, it was a great day in the park with my friends. We’re going to the park again tomorrow. Do you want to go, Grandma?
B: I would love to, dear.
N: Now listen to Part 1 again.
