Sophie: You have a big family, Alex. What do you all like doing at the weekend?
Alex: Well, my brother Jack really loves going shopping. He goes to the shopping centre with my mum every Saturday morning.
Sophie: That’s fun!

Conversation
Sophie: What about your sister Emma? What does she like doing at the weekend?
Alex: Oh, Emma loves baking cakes! She makes cookies and cupcakes in the kitchen every Sunday.
Sophie: Yummy! And what about your little sister Mia?
Alex: Mia loves riding her bike! She cycles around the park near our house every weekend.
Sophie: Is she good at cycling?
Alex: Yes! She can ride really fast now. She learned last year.
Sophie: I think I met your cousin Ben at your birthday party.
Alex: Oh yes! Ben loves playing video games. He brings his games to our house every weekend.
Sophie: I don’t really like video games.
Alex: That’s okay! I like watching him play. Do you remember my uncle Mike?
Sophie: The funny one who tells jokes?
Alex: Yes! Mike loves gardening. He helps my dad plant flowers and vegetables every Saturday.
Sophie: Does he grow good vegetables?
Alex: Yes, he’s really good at it! And my grandpa is very active too.
Sophie: What does your grandpa like doing?
Alex: Grandpa Sam loves fishing. He goes to the lake early every Sunday morning.
Sophie: Wow, your family is always busy at the weekend!
